A social election: Fox News and Twitter partner for the first time | VentureBeat

For tomorrow’s presidential election, Twitter has partnered up with Fox News, representing the first time the two have ever come together on a social media partnership.

Fox says Twitter is giving up some exclusive data to the network as well. Twitter will hand over tweets to Fox to air prior to any other news outlets, and will also give specific kinds of data that other networks won’t have. This includes “state-by-state engagements” all throughout the evening.
