First Sports Social TV Awards Slated for May in Los Angeles

Social Summits, the parent company of Social TV Daily, will host the first industry awards for sports  social TV on May 29, at the Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles, the company has announced.

The awards, called STEEVEEs, will be awarded to networks, leagues, teams, individuals, producers, agencies, brands, research companies, and others for social TV projects conducted from Jan. 1, 2012 through April 22, 2013.

A total of 21 sports-specific categories are on tap for a select and prestigious panel of judges to evaluate, ranging from best pro league, best arena application, best sport specific and more, including marketer of the year, the top individual in sports social media.

The awards will be presented at a cocktail party following the first Sports Social TV Summit, also on May 29 at the Bel-Air.

Social Summits organizes the Social TV Summits as well as the Social TV Awards and the Latin Social TV Awards.
