Parity abounds so far in NBA conference semifinals
Parity has struck the NBA playoffs, where the conference semifinals are all fit to be tied. The four current series are all knotted at one game apiece – the first time that’s happened in the second round of the NBA playoffs since the league went to its current format more than a quarter-century ago.

What Went Wrong in the Deadly America’s Cup Crash?
Another America’s Cup boat crashed, this time with fatal results. The team is nominally Swiss, but the tactician and CEO, Paul Cayard, is a San Francisco Bay Area native, and his crew is comprised largely of British and American sailors. It was an Englishman who died, Andrew Simpson.
