After an completely open schedule, the NBA playoffs return tonight with the four conference semifinals series tied 1-1 — the first time in the 25 years of this playoff. Parity abounds so far in NBA conference semifinals
Parity has struck the NBA playoffs, where the conference semifinals are all fit to be tied. The four current series are all knotted at one game apiece – the first time that’s happened in the second round of the NBA playoffs since the league went to its current format more than a quarter-century ago.

What Went Wrong in the Deadly America’s Cup Crash?
Another America’s Cup boat crashed, this time with fatal results. The team is nominally Swiss, but the tactician and CEO, Paul Cayard, is a San Francisco Bay Area native, and his crew is comprised largely of British and American sailors. It was an Englishman who died, Andrew Simpson.

Darlington Weather forecast: Mother Nature threatens Mother’s Weekend
The Unofficial NASCAR Weatherman, Meteorologist Brian Neudorff, hopes for a tamer Mother Nature at the track that is “Too Tough To Tame” Darlington Raceway NASCAR had had managed to avoid major weather delays this season until Talladega where everyone had to wait out a 3 1/2 hour rain delay.
