The final four contestants on’American Idol,’ all women, got to pick their own songs and boosted the show’s social buzz Wednesday by 6 percent over Tuesday with 244,783 mentions by 115,739 people, leading all shows on broadcast TV, Trendrr reported this morning.

San Antonio’s 102-91 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA playoffs on TNT last night was the top Social TV program overall with 731,212 mentions by 435,815 people across Facebook, Twitter, GetGlue and Viggle, according to Trendrr.

Sports occupied four of the top five spots on SocialGuide’s report this morning, led by Spurs-Lakers, then soccer with European Champions League soccer coverage of Borussia Dortmund vs. Real Madrid on FX and Fox Deportes collecting more than a half million mentions on Twitter.

‘Duck Dynasty’ and “SpongeBob’ were in Trendrr’s top 5 for cable, and “Survivor,’ SVU, ‘Supernatural’ and ‘Arrow’ topped broadcast, respectively.
