Last Night’s Social TV Buzz (April 25)

The NFL Draft on ESPN ignited over 1.5 million tweets yesterday, close to 48 percent of all Twitter Social TV buzz, with 609,912 people commenting.

Twitter activity peaked in the 15-minute period starting at 10:30 p.m. ET with 194,057 TV-related tweets sent, according to SocialGuide analytics this morning.

Twitter buzz from Thursday night’s Billboard’s Latin Music Awards on Telemundo was 9 percent of the Social TV activity yesterday, with over 305,000 tweets from more than 82,000 people, or, almost 4 tweets per person.

Trendrr measured 794,746 mentions on Twitter, Facebook, GetGlue and Viggle for the Latin Music Awards with 193,382 people contributing over 4 mentions each as the No. 1 show on broadcast TV.

Trendr had the NFL Draft with 1,854,774 mentions by 757,658 people or a 64 percent share.

Scandal, Idol and Vampire Diaries were No. 2, 3. and 4 for the night on broadcast, while the NBA Playoffs game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Chicago Bulls was the No. 2 show on cable.
