About “Spoiler Culture” on Newsweek’s Tumblr

This is the line NBC’s been preaching in the face of the #NBCFail criticism—that Twitter (and Tumblr, and Facebook) is serving as a multi-headed publicity machine that’s in fact driving views as people say, “Hey, Gabby Douglas won!? I want to see her do it!” It makes sense. (We think.)
