Guide to election-night coverage on national, cable and Milwaukee TV outlets

NBC, PBS, CBS, Fox, C-SPAN 1 and C-SPAN 2 start coverage at 7 p.m., ABC at 6 p.m. CNN’s “Election Day in America” becomes “Election Night” at 5 p.m., the same time Fox News Channel, Fox Business Channel and MSNBC start their evening coverage.

ABC coverage will be anchored by Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopolous. Jake Tapper will cover President Barack Obama, David Muir is covering Mitt Romney and Katie Couric will monitor social media. Analysis is by George Will, Donna Brazile and Matthew Dowd.

CBS coverage will be anchored by Scott Pelley, with reports from Bob Schieffer, Norah O’Donnell and John Dickerson. Jan Crawford reports from Romney headquarters in Boston and Nancy Cordes from Obama headquarters in Chicago.

CNN coverage will be anchored by Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper. Candy Crowley and Jim Acosta cover Romney in Boston and Jessica Yellin, Dan Lothian and Briana Keilar cover Obama in Chicago. Swing-state coverage includes Ted Rowlands in Milwaukee. Analysts include Gloria Borger, David Gergen, Paul Begala, James Carville and Ari Fleischer.
