Report: Social TV Last Night

American Idol” on Fox was Trendrr’s top-buzzed TV program yesterday, while SocialGuide said the NBA game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland was the most-tweeted TV program overall.

Let’s take a look at the numbers.

Idol topped all broadcast and cable programs in buzz with 300,853 mentions by 138,000 people on Twitter, Facebook, GetGue and Viggle, Trendrr reported this morning.

The Lakers-Portland game ignited 380,751 tweets by 143,000 people, SocialGuide said today. Idol, SocialGuide reported, had 234,879 tweets by 99,686 people with Kobe Bryant getting 7,544 retweets from the following tweet:

“Survivor” on CBS was Trendrr’s No. 2 program on broadcast last night with 57,000 mentions, while ABC’s “Modern Family” was third with 49,000 mentions followed by “Criminal Minds on CBS with 42,000 mentions.

On cable, A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” was the top buzzed show with 190,000 mentions by 124,000 people, according to Trendrr. Nick’s SpongeBob was second with 101,000 mentions followed by the NBA’s Brooklyn at Boston matchup on ESPN with 89,000 mentions.

SocialGuide said Idol was second in social-TV buzz with 235,000 mentions followed by Duck Dynasty with 147,000 mentions.
