In an interview at Business Insider’s IGNITION conference, Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes was asked what he thought about Apple making a TV.said that he hopes Apple makes a TV and applauded Apple for being a great device company. “I hope they do. I think Apple is a great device company. They bring good interface and navigation skills.” says Bewkes.

  • ‘Charlie Brown Christmas’ wins ratings fight

Wednesday night’s annual telecast of A Charlie Brown Christmas won the 8 p.m. hour for ABC. The Peanuts gang’s 47-year-old special — the most popular of the franchise’s animated programs — delivered 8.9 million viewers and a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating. That performance outdrew CBS’ Survivor: Philippines (10.4 million, 2.7 rating) and Fox’s The X-Factor (8.1 million, 2.8) among adults 18-49.

Sixty per cent of Twitter’s UK users use it while watching TV and Twitter would be “poorer” without TV, according to Bruce Daisley, its sales director.Speaking at Twitter’s Tune in with Twitter  event in London today, Daisley claimed the social network has a “phenomenal” relationship with TV, stressing that Twitter is “a layer” that exists alongside TV, rather than a competitor to it.
