Twitter Mobile Users More Engaged With Brand

In a keynote talk at MediaPost’s Social Insider Summit on Monday, Guy Yalif, head of global product marketing at Twitter, 200 million people log into Twitter at least once a month — and of those, 120 million, or 60%, do so at least once on a mobile device. Within that 60%, is a “large chunk” of users who interact with Twitter primarily through their mobile devices.

Facebook Counted 43M Grammy-Related Likes, Comments — Oh, And 26M Related To Super Bowl Ads Last Week 

Facebook says it took that list of 26 hashtagged advertisers and found that they were mentioned in 2 million Facebook posts from game day. And those posts, in turn, drove a total of 26 million comments and likes.

Lazarus: We Believe Sochi Olympics Will Be Profitable

NBC lost about $223 million on the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games, but turned an $88 million profit for last summer’s games in London. The 2014 Games will be the first under the new rights deal that was signed back in mid-2011, which gave NBC the U.S. rights for the next four Olympics for $4.38 billion. The Sochi Games alone cost NBC $775 million.
