Last Night’s Social TV Buzz

Trendrr reported this morning that coverage of the Masters golf tournament on CBS was the most-buzzed broadcast TV show on Sunday, while the MTV Movie Awards was the best on cable and overall with over 3 million mentions on Facebook, Twitter, GetGlue and Viggle.

The Masters sparked nearly 653,000 mentions while ABC’s coverage of the NBA game between the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat was second with nearly 239,000 mentions followed by “The Voice” on NBC with 83,000 mentions for the top shows on broadcast TV.

The NBA TV telecast of the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs was second on cable with over 358,000 mentions while “Game of Thrones” had over 189,000 mentions to stand third for the night.
