Monday’s Social TV Buzz Numbers (April 30)

‘Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta’ on VH1 was the top show on Social TV Monday night, with 369,880 mentions on Twitter, Facebook, Viggle and GetGlue, according to Trendrr’s morning report.

Last week’s show was one of the most engaged Social TV show outside of the tentpole events with 710,000 mentions by 206,000 people. This week, buzz was down some 48 percent, but still lead all programs.

NBC’s ‘The Voice’ was the top show on broadcast with 200,257 mentions, compared to 232,292 mentions by 110,857 people last week, down 14 percent.

According to Trendrr, sports on cable occupied places 2-5 in social buzz — with total mentions all eclipsing broadcast fare. The NBA’s Bulls at Nets playoff on TNT was No. 2(261,321 mentions), No. 3 was WWE Monday Night Raw(202,321 mentions), the NBA’s Thunder at Rockets on TNT was No. 4 (191,513 mentions) followed by the NBA’s Pacers at Hawks on NBA TV (92,216 mentions) at No. 5.

‘The Following’ on Fox garnered nearly 86,000 mentions at No. 2, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on ABC was at No. 3 with almost 84,000 mentions, ‘Bones’ on Fox ended its season with 64,000 mentions at No. 4, followed by ‘How I Met Your Mother’ with 58,889 mentions.

For the day, SocialGuide said 1,054,578 people made 2,511,134 tweets about 1,021 TV programs for the day, compared to 2.3 million tweets by 1.03 million people about 927 programs last Monday.

Twitter mentions peaked at 167,000 for the 15-minute period starting at 8:15 as ‘Love & Hip Hop,’ ‘Raw,’ Bulls-Nets, Pacers-Hawks, ‘Dancing’ ‘Bones’ and ‘How I Met’ were airing.
